When Ross, an aspiring writer, gets a promotion, she celebrates by going with her friends on a trip across the country. While everybody is enjoying the party, she had a hunch that something or someone is watching her every move. Although everyone laughs at her and doesn’t believe her, she is convinced that someone is with them all the time. When the group plays with an Ouija board, Ross finds herself strangely connected to the spirit. After that, her friend mysteriously disappears and other strange occurrences start happening. Who is the spirit? And why is Ross connected to it?
